The Department of Business and Consumer Finance came to Provis with a previous site that just didn't fit with their goals and desires for operation, either visually or operationally. Information Technology at DBCF didn't just want a site vendor; previous relationships had underscored the need for a partner, one that could help guide the development path through content discussions internally and help not only visualize the end product but make it reachable.
Provis helped Information Technology facilitate multiple meetings encompassing each primary division inside of DBCF, with the focus being on operations and content structural goals. After these discussions were completed, Provis incorporated key take-aways into the design and functionality of the new site.
One of the main considerations for Information Technology was to create a site that they could manage without the requirement for outside assistance, essentially making them as self-supporting as possible. Provis coupled this with the ability to make extremely dynamic changes very easily and also trained DBCF in how to carry out administration and content management.
The end result is a site that functions exactly how they need in a manner that works not only for them but WITH them.
