Our Work
Pontotoc Electric Power Association
For more than 85 years, Mississippi’s electric cooperatives have played a vital role in the growth and development of our great state. But our work is not done.
“Provis was recommended to us by another cooperative, and we’re so glad they were. Their team hit the ground running to create an updated, fresh site for us, taking into consideration our ideas and preferences all along the way. They were always accessible and knowledgeable, and they were (and still are) an invaluable partner in this process.”

Pontotoc Electric Power Association
Pontotoc Electric Power Association contacted Provis to revamp their website, needing it done quickly as the company who had done their previous site was going to stop support for their CMS on January 1, 2021. Provis was up for the challenge and ready to help. With our designers having extensive experience developing online presences for EPA's, many aspects of the site structure and UX were able to be fabricated quickly. This provided a strong advantage when working toward our deadline.
The original site was put in service some 5-7 years ago and the design really hadn't been modified since. This meant that it was not mobile friendly, something that strongly needed to be addressed. Pontotoc also wanted the site to reflect the needs of their members, therefore many member comments and requests were taken into account when creating the overall structure.
On the back end, some of the main components that Pontotoc wanted to address were flexibility in dynamic page layouts, the ability to be self-sufficient in content control, and the capability to add increased functionality to the site with no headaches. Provis created a small team with Pontotoc and developed the initial content map as well as a coordinated system for content development and submission during the site construction process.
Provis worked with Pontotoc to get the site launched before deadline, and will be performing training with PEPA staff to manage the site themselves.
